The Estate of Dame Ivy Compton-Burnett will be hosting a presentation by Dr Helen Charman, the winner of the Dame Ivy Compton-Burnett Scholarship on Saturday 27th June 2026. The presentation will be on the role of governesses in Ivy Compton-Burnett’s novels and will include an interview with the English novelist Philip Hensher.
